Calling All Western Cape Mentors

The African Arts Institute, based in Cape Town, is running a 6- month Cultural Accelerator (November 2015 – April 2016) to help grow the social and cultural entrepreneurial environment in the greater Western Cape region.
17 inspiring creative entrepreneurs have been chosen to take part in this programme and were asked to identify the type of mentor they would like to link up with on their creative journey.

What Type Of Mentor Are You?

Entrepreneurs were asked to identify the characteristics/qualities they would like to find in their ideal mentor. The following is a summarised version of their responses:

* integrity;
* knowledge;
* experience;
* visionary;
* innovator;
* networked;
* servant leaders;
* resourceful;
* disciplined;
* ambitious;
* artistic;
* approachable;
* bilingual (English/Afrikaans);

If you share some of these qualities, and believe you have something to share with one of the entrepreneurs, please send the institution an email and join the unity in building one another! Mentors preferably based in the Western Cape are encouraged to apply. The commitment is 2 hours (online or off line) every month from November – April 2016 (18 hours only). A small gift is available as a thank you for your time.
