The Locrate Market is a buzzing place showcasing a variety of talent, art and a culture that breeds entrepreneurial opportunities for traders. This event radiates with kasi flavour, good music vibes, tasty food and diversity.

Being the very first of its kind in Soweto, Locrate Market is a place where family and friends can gather and spend the whole day browsing through different stalls and catching up on good conversation. People can expect to be entertained as they experience the different stalls situated at the Locrate Market, that is located in Orlando West: Corner Moema and Kudu Street.

Many stalls that bring flavour to this market include Nto Zinhle Jewellery for the accessory lovers, Konope Styles for those that appreciate vintage clothing as well as the children’s entertainment section; to mention but a few.

The Locrate Market takes place on the first Sunday of every month from 10:00 am – 17:00 pm.

Bring your family and friends to experience the exciting kasi culture. It is worth the drive.
