Facebook and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement join forces to launch Africa Together – a digital campaign and two-day festival, June 4-5.
Artists from all over Africa come together to fight against disinformation and encourage respect for the barrier measures put in place to counter the Covid-19 pandemic.
With more than 100,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 on the continent and relaxed containment measures in many countries, Africa Together combines musical and comic performances with information from first responders and fact-checkers from across Africa.
